Same PPI base as crushed gravel (PCU212321212321 index 594.808). Pea gravel commands 25–30% premium over base gravel for additional washing and screening to uniform ⅜" size. Mine-gate $17.25/ton + higher processing = retail $45/ton mid-estimate. Range $30–75 reflects grade, color, and region. Series cadence: monthly. The dollar range is re-derived whenever the underlying index moves more than 5% from the derivation point.
