Anchored to national lumberyard sheet pricing: ½ in CDX 4×8 sheet ≈ $24–32 ÷ 32 sq ft = $0.75–1.00/sq ft; 7⁄16 in OSB 4×8 ≈ $16–22 ÷ 32 = $0.50–0.69/sq ft. Mid $0.75/sq ft, material only (no fasteners/labor). Range spans OSB→CDX grade and regional variance. Monthly drift tracked via WPU083 ratio. Series cadence: monthly. The dollar range is re-derived whenever the underlying index moves more than 5% from the derivation point.
